How to try it: Answer without a dictionary, then use the rationale to label the skill involved: grammar, context, or response relevance.
1. Reading — Part 5 style
The warehouse supervisor asked staff to label ___ package clearly before shipment.
Answer or self-check: A. every
Why: “Package” is singular and countable, so “every package” fits. The other choices require a plural noun here.
2. Reading — Part 6 style
The planning meeting was postponed ___ several team members were travelling.
Answer or self-check: A. because
Why: The second clause gives the reason for postponement. “Because” expresses that cause directly.
3. Listening — Question and Response style
When will the maintenance team inspect the elevators?
Answer or self-check: A. On Thursday morning.
Why: The question word “when” asks for a time. Option A answers that intent without relying on repeated vocabulary alone.
Use TOEIC Listening practice for Parts 1–4 and TOEIC Reading practice for Parts 5–7. If you tested in Japan, the TOEIC result-timeline guide explains the Public Test schedule and how it differs from IP testing.
For Listening, review the exact audio evidence and why the distractors do not fit. For Reading, identify whether the error came from grammar, vocabulary, text cohesion, detail location, or time management.
Complete one timed set, review every missed item, record the error category, and repeat the same part with new material. Add longer mixed practice only after the recurring errors are clear.
Practice scores on English AIdol are study guidance, not official TOEIC results. Check the current test format, registration rules, score use, and any programme or employer requirement with ETS or the authorised local test provider.
