What the TOEFL Portal Covers

The TOEFL iBT is a computer-based academic English test with four scored sections. English AIdol keeps those sections separate so you can practise exactly what you need: Reading passages with evidence-based explanations, Listening sets based on lectures and campus conversations, Speaking prompts for all four tasks, and Writing practice for Integrated Writing plus Academic Discussion.

Each section is built around the skill ETS is testing. Reading trains inference, vocabulary-in-context, sentence insertion, factual detail, and summary questions. Listening trains note-taking, lecture structure, speaker attitude, and detail recognition. Speaking and Writing add AI feedback so you are not guessing whether your answer would sound organised, developed, or accurate to a rater.

How to Improve Your TOEFL Score Faster

Use a short loop: complete one timed task, read the explanation, correct the mistake, and repeat the same question type. For Speaking and Writing, small changes in structure, timing, grammar, and development can move a response several points.

For Reading and Listening, track question types instead of only total score. If inference questions, lecture attitude questions, or sentence insertion questions keep causing errors, drill that type directly before doing another full mock test.

For Speaking and Writing, keep one revised model answer per task type. Reusing a strong structure with new topics makes your answers faster and more consistent under test timing.

If your target is 90+, build consistency in Reading and Listening while lifting Speaking and Writing into the 23-25 range. If your target is 100+, focus on advanced paraphrasing, lecture note organisation, pronunciation clarity, and high-control grammar. At that level, the biggest gains come from reducing small repeated mistakes rather than learning a brand-new strategy.

TOEFL Practice by Goal

University admission: practise integrated academic tasks first because they combine reading, listening, notes, and spoken or written output. Scholarships: aim above the minimum and check section requirements. Retake planning: identify the lowest section before booking another official test.
