1. Read Aloud
Public libraries increasingly lend tools and equipment as well as books, allowing residents to complete occasional projects without buying rarely used items.
Answer or self-check: Self-check: preserve every content word, keep the plural endings in “libraries”, “tools”, “books”, “residents”, “projects”, and “items”, and pause lightly after “books”.
Why: A steady pace and meaningful phrasing support clarity; rushing often causes small word endings to disappear.
2. Repeat Sentence
The museum tour begins in the main hall immediately after the safety briefing.
Answer or self-check: Exact text: The museum tour begins in the main hall immediately after the safety briefing.
Why: Check the location phrase and the sequence marker “immediately after”; both carry information that a shortened repetition may lose.
3. Describe Image
Monthly bicycle trips: January 1,200; February 1,450; March 1,900; April 1,750.
Answer or self-check: Sample direction: Bicycle trips rose overall from 1,200 in January to 1,750 in April. They peaked at 1,900 in March before falling by 150 in the final month.
Why: The response leads with the trend, identifies the peak, and uses one exact comparison instead of reading every number without structure.
