The globalisation has both positive and negative effects on the cultural identity. On the one hand, it can help to spread the culture to other countries. For example, the food, music and fashion from one country can become popular in another country. This can help to promote understanding and tolerance between different cultures. On the other hand, globalisation can also lead to the loss of traditional cultures. For instance, many people now prefer to watch Hollywood movies and listen to Western music, rather than their own traditional forms of entertainment. This can cause the traditional cultures to disappear. In my opinion, the negative effects of globalisation on cultural identity are more serious than the positive effects. Therefore, we should try to protect our traditional cultures.
