What can be evaluated without an account

Public exam hubs explain current formats and link to focused practice for IELTS, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, and TOEIC Listening and Reading. Priority skill pages include short original questions, visible answers, explanations, source-review dates, and score-interpretation limits.

Coverage and access

English AIdol supports practice across Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking, although task inventory, language coverage, feedback, saved history, and free limits vary by activity and plan. The live pricing page and each activity are the current source for access details.

Vietnamese, Japanese, and Korean TOEIC overview pages are reviewed native-language pilots. Russian has translated exam-format comparison and English-test requirements guides, but not a localized TOEIC portal. Other exam hubs are currently English-first. A locale is not advertised as an equivalent version unless its visible metadata, body, FAQs, links, and reciprocal hreflang are complete.

Scoring and independence

Automated writing and speaking feedback is intended for practice. Any score is an unofficial estimate, not an official IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or TOEIC result, and English AIdol does not publish a fixed independently audited accuracy percentage or guarantee a score increase.

English AIdol is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by IELTS, ETS, Pearson, or other exam owners. The exam owners and receiving organisations remain the source of truth for formats, fees, acceptance, and high-stakes decisions. See the product facts and editorial and corrections policy.

Reusable research asset

The English Exam Format Comparison 2026 dataset compares IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, and TOEIC Listening and Reading using linked exam-owner sources. Version 1.0 was verified on 2 August 2026 and is available as JSON and CSV under CC BY 4.0.

Independent evaluation worksheet

Download the blank educator worksheet (CSV). It prompts reviewers to record exam acceptance, score requirements, delivery preferences, timed-task observations, feedback checks, access limits, and booking facts without assuming that one exam or provider is best.

  1. Confirm acceptance and score requirements with the receiving organisation.
  2. Compare delivery, speaking mode, task mix, timing, and score scale.
  3. Try the public samples under the same timed conditions.
  4. Record what is directly observable and what remains a publisher disclosure.
  5. Verify volatile booking facts on the exam owner's current local page.

For a resource-list editor or publication, use the neutral outreach note (plain text). It requests independent assessment and does not request positive coverage, endorsement, reciprocal links, or ranking.

Suggested classroom uses

  • Compare test delivery, timing, task structure, and scoring before a learner chooses an exam.
  • Assign one public mini-practice set, then ask learners to classify each error by evidence, language, or task coverage.
  • Use an AI feedback comment as a revision hypothesis and require the learner to accept, reject, or rewrite it with reasons.
  • Verify volatile exam facts against the linked exam-owner source before sharing them with a class.

Editorial contact

Educators and publishers can request clarification, a correction, or temporary evaluation access at [email protected]. An inclusion decision should be based on the public evidence above; English AIdol does not buy rankings or request undisclosed endorsements.
